Big Weekend for a Big Boy

I can't believe how fast my little man is growing up. We're really starting to see his personality come out, and I keep imagining the days when he'll be running around and responding, "NO!" to everything we say. I can say with absolutely certainty that those days will be here all too soon. My baby is growing up!

This weekend marked the official end of Caleb's infant status as we preemptively lowered the mattress on his crib to the middle setting in anticipation of the not so distant day when he'll be pulling himself. He's already started using the crib rails to pull himself from one end of the crib to the other.

We also transitioned him from the infant car seat to his convertible seat. You may remember me saying that he'd, "be in the convertible seat before he was 6 months old," but we decided to wait a bit longer until he was able to sit up in a restaurant-style high chair. He's still not the best at sitting when he's exhausted, but he was really starting to look cramped in the infant seat. Definitely much more comfortable now.

Before looking pretty cramped

Hard to believe that he once looked like this in the carseat!

After sprawling out and sitting just like a little man.
