Here we are, just a little under three weeks to go and finally ready for the baby's arrival. It was great to have the long Labor Day weekend to finish shopping for all of the baby necesseties and to really get the house into shape. We were also able to spend some time learning how to work the video camera so we can share the baby's first moments of life with everyone.
For me, this week has turned out some great data in the lab, so it looks like I'm ready to step away from research until my leave ends after baby's arrival. That should give me just the time I need to get a nice chunk of dissertation writing complete. However, if this baby decides to make an early appearance, that's fine too! I'm still feeling great, but Andrew and I are definitely ready to get to know the little one and his or her personality. Stay tuned for more updates!
